Brian, per our discussion, that certainly shows that while the l iij milestone slurry traffic may be reduced, it has absolutely not ended.

One day last week, I counted a couple of OMYA tanks on one train and that totaled to sixteen cars.

Since the OMYA logos have been painted out on almost all of the cars, it can sometimes not be quite as obvious what the contents may be.  Many of the cars continue to carry "Limestone Slurry" lettering on the side of the tank.

While driving home from a doctors appointment on I 84 I saw a headlight off in the distance on the PAS main near the New Britain/Plainville town line.  As I got closer I saw four locomotives - no way could I write while driving on a fairly busy highway.  The first 2 locos were 59xx GEs but the 3rd and 4th were MEC 305 and 504 followed by a long string of debris cars maybe a couple of scrap gondolas, a coil steel car then tank cars disappearing from view  - counted up to 41 cars but there were probably more.
